OCTOBER 1st * MY BIRTHDAY

This past Saturday my family and great friends came together to celebrate my 68th birthday. As always, we all had a great time with good food, lots of cocktails, games and just good conversations. I did not expected this, but I got spoiled with lots of nice birthday greetings and great gifts.
I received wonderful wine goblets, a fully hooked up cellphone, a gift certificate to a local butcher shop, scratch off lottery tickets, Nike golf balls with long tees, tickets to Tennis Championship Classic Series playing Borg, McEnroe, Currier and Chang and Daniel and Gina even organized dinner that evening and breakfast the next day.
For dinner they fixed some delicious carnitas, and then for breakfast we had chilaquiles and bloody Mary's.

I could easily get used to a life like that.

  2. Ernie,

Glad you are enjoying your birthday month! Gotta have the oxtail soup recipe. Not sure I will get Michelle to try it, but if I bribe her with your
    tiramisu recipe she might! steelers7@bellsouth.net

    Love you,

    Jill
