EXCITING – EXHILARATING – EXHAUSTING

This is the correct description for the end of this busy but enjoyable summer.
To recap the happenings I will make it as short as possible.

With Luke deciding to play football we, the grandparents, are treated to some exiting games on the weekends. I really mean that after seeing the first game the other day. Even the parents behavior is fun to watch.

Luke # 46 is the tallest one on his team

Doesn't he look great?

Working in my yard I had a surprising visitor, who is lucky to be still alive. Just because Donna is telling me for years how good black snakes are for the environment I let him live.

Beside, I got unexpected help from a giant hawk, who took care of my problem.

The terrible drought this summer had one advantage, the grass was not growing and I did not have to mow the lawn. So, finally we got some rain and everything changed. I got exited to finally mow the lawn, because it is good exercise for me. Unfortunately, I made only one passage of about 10 yards and the lawn mower exploded with a loud bang, scaring the whole neighborhood. This happens to dummies who forget to check the oil before starting the motor. I had to go shopping around and two days later I owned a brand new Honda. Believe me; this baby will never be without oil.

Only 3 years old

In between all this we had to get the new baby’s room ready and teamed up to make it nice and fresh. While engineer Daniel took care of the ceiling fan, lights and electric outlets, Eric and I did the paint job.

Electrician Daniel is figuring out the right connections.

Eric with hes nice and even strokes, like a pro

Of course we always had time  for occasional party's and get together's for no particular reason.

Taking his good old time

His efforts are to no avail and everybody is happy

Exhausted after the game, we needed to relax

Ignoring the heat, we never missed our golf, we where at the course at least
 once a week.
